Natural smoke ventilation is achieved through air inlet openings placed at the lower parts of the building walls and smoke outlet openings installed at the upper sections. This configuration creates a chimney effect in the interior, enabling hot gases to be rapidly expelled. By collecting smoke at the ceiling zone, clean air is maintained at the level where people are present, and evacuation safety is enhanced.

Properly positioned smoke ventilation hatches activate in the early stages of a fire, preventing the accumulation of heat and smoke inside. This facilitates intervention by firefighting teams and minimizes damage to the structure. The systems are designed in accordance with the DIN 18232 standard, tailored to different roof types and building architectures.
